1. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
   A) cleanliness:  We clean all floors and surfaces weekly using bleach, isopropyl alcohol, and
a propane blow torch for metal tables and concrete floors

   B) Isolation:  we prefer to grow from seed but in the instance we bring in a new plant, we
isolate the plant and inspect leaf surfaces under 125x magnification.  We also employ a strict
environment where only gardeners are allowed to enter the growing environment.

   C).  We  use only 2 non-systemic OMRI rated (organic) WSLCB section 25b (EPA Exempt)
natural oil sprays.  All sprays are used only in the vegetative stage and are non toxic.  The
effective action comes from smothering the pest. The sprays we use naturally biodegrade under
normal light conditions within 48 hours.  Pest sprays of any kind are never used in the Bloom
house as we take great pride in having a clean, pure product for our customers to enjoy.

   D.  Natural predators:  We have introduced Apholodetes and Lady bugs into our Bloomhouse
grow environment as watchdogs for plant sucking pests.

   E.  Environmental control:  By carefully coordinating watering schedules, airflow and
temperature with a regimented schedule of de-fan leafing at 3 weeks into flowering along with
trimming up the bottom 30% of our plants we experience  little to no issues with mildew or
fungus  as we maintain a proper vapor pressure deficit in conjunction with a clean  growing enviroment.
